Our club name, “Ceann Criege” comes from the Irish translation of Craigend, the area in the East end of Glasgow where our club began in 2019.
Originally founded to introduce Hurling & Camogie to children in Craigend, the club has more than tripled in size since then.
Our first adult team was spearheaded by a group of Camogs, committed to spreading the word that Camogie had arrived in Glasgow. The interest and publicity grew and after an impromptu poc on Glasgow Green, a Hurling squad soon followed.
Today we have over 150 club members, which we hope will increase further over the coming years. Our youth setup remains at the heart of our aim - to provide Hurling and Camogie in Glasgow for all.
If you have any interest, we would love for you to get involved and help grow Hurling & Camogie in Glasgow and Scotland!
